THIS weekend will feature the conclusion of the Hamilton Golf Club championships for the men with two rounds to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be interest in all four grades with perhaps the C grade the only one that you could say is over with one round to play, with the leader 11 shots in front.
Over the weekend, and particularly on Sunday, any golfer or those that enjoy watching great golf, are most welcome to walk around with the players and cheer them on.
In A grade, Simon Goggin has a handy four stroke advantage on 150 with Graham Rentsch the next player on 154.
Jason Chandler is in third place on 156, just ahead of Ben Kelson, who put in a wonderful round last week with 74 after his disastrous 83 in the first round and sits on 157.
Those four players at this stage look to be the only players with a chance to take home the trophy.
