IN conjunction with the club championships at the Hamilton Golf Club last Saturday, it was also Techwool Trading day.
They are great sponsors of the club and provide prizes on a selected Saturday each month.
There were three grades last week, as well as the ladies’ competition.
In A grade it was a win to Ben Kelson, who put himself back into championship calculations when he fired a 74 off the stick for a nett 68.
John Andrews was runner-up on nett 69, on a countback from David Clark on the same score.
B grade was won by Robbie Cunningham on nett 72, just ahead of three players on nett 74.
They were Noel Jennings, who was runner-up on a countback from Paul Ryan and Cameron McDonald.
Graham Trounce performed at his best when he scored nett 71 and veteran Barry McGrath was runner-up on nett 73, with third place going to Ian Harris on nett 74.
The ladies’ event was won by Tracy Crawford with nett 72, which was a very good round of golf.
