KIDS, get your dancing shoes on and your singing voices ready as the next Blue Light Disco has been announced.
It is going to be bigger and better than ever before as for the first time children aged between five and eight can also attend.
Hamilton Police Senior Constable, Paula Cutler said at previous Blue Light Disco’s the age bracket was nine to 14.
“We would like to offer the opportunity of kids being able to go out and have a dance,” Sen Const Cutler said.
“And I had too many parents complaining and saying that it is really unfortunate for some kids as they might be in the same class but aged just below the cut off.”
Sen Const Cutler said they only knew of one other town that provided a disco for the younger age group.
