THE Hamilton Kangaroos issued a clear statement in Saturday’s A grade netball triumph against South Warrnambool.
In just their second year of existence, the Kangaroos signalled they are the “real deal” in season 2014.
The Kangaroos secured outright third spot on the premiership table on the back of an enthralling 44-43 victory on South Warrnambool’s home court.
The Kangaroos continued to tick all the right boxes.
Saturday’s one goal triumph was again character building for the new look outfit.
The Kangaroos were pushed to the limit by a resurgent South Warrnambool side in a desperate final quarter.
“The last three games South have come from behind and won all three games,” Hamilton Kangaroos coach Sara Byrne told the Spectator in her post match interview.
