TATYOON suffered its first A grade loss of the 2014 season at the hands of Woorndoo Mortlake on Saturday.
In what was set to be a great tussle, Tatyoon played beautifully in the first quarter to be up by one goal at the break.
Woorndoo Mortlake went into the second quarter in a more settled manner, and shot 14 goals to the Hawks’ eight.
After half time the Tigers continued to dominate, with their momentum obviously growing.
Georgia Muir was named best for her tireless work in the goalkeeper position, while Sarah Wastell converted well in goal shooter.
Talented centre player Spencer Smith played a great game for Tatyoon, and Ellie McDougall worked hard to contain the Tigers’ goalies in goalkeeper.
Glenthompson Dunkeld continued its climb up the ladder after taking care of Caramut.
