HAMILTON paramedic Rich Bruce is fortunate that he hasn’t been called to treat many ice users in Hamilton.
But his experience in Melbourne and his native Auckland is very different.
While he described incidents as “mostly naked people” there have been situations where his life is at serious risk.
At a forum in Coleraine, warning the community about the dangers of ice, Mr Bruce recalled one night when he was called out to a house in a nice suburb at around 11pm.
