PORTLAND coach Kerri Jennings has rued inefficient passing in her side’s 14-goal victory over bottom side Warrnambool in Hampden Netball League on Saturday.
The Tigers controlled the majority of play and applied strong defensive pressure to the Blues and skipped out to a 14-goal lead by halftime at HanlonPark.
The margin would remain the same at the final whistle, although Jennings was far from impressed with the ball use of the Tigers going forward.
“It’s the transfer from the midcourt to the other end which is hurting us,” she said.
“We turned the ball over 30 times which is a huge issue.
“We just need to work on our passing, it is letting us down, you can’t win grand finals if you’re going to turn the ball over 30 times.”
