GLENTHOMPSON Rural Fire Brigade has taken ownership of a new light fire tanker.
The tanker will enable a quicker response to fires and serve as an important back up to the primary tanker truck for any emergencies that arise closer to Glenthompson.
It was part-funded by a $14,000 donation by AGL Energy Limited (AGL).
The brigade forms part of the Country Fire Authority network.
