TEN weeks of fun and competitive tennis came to an end on Wednesday night, with the finals of the mid-week mixed competition.
The grand final teams featured a good mix of young and older, but not old, players, and it made for an interesting contest.
Having enjoyed a strong season, Musketeers (Marcus Winter-Cooke, Andrew Lacey, Michael Kelso and Rod Evans) went in as the favourites, if not only because they finished on top of the ladder and that’s how sport usually works.
