THE Portland Golf Club’s Pink Day, an event to raise money for cancer sufferers in the local area, has been hailed a great success by all and sundry.
The event raised $2000, which will be used in the Portland area to help people suffering with cancer.

“Because of the time of year, think about it June in Portland, there was a 90 per cent chance we wouldn’t be able to play, so we organised a guest speaker,” she said.
