CASTERTON has held a peaceful and relatively well-attended open day on unconventional gas and fracking, with locals saying they appreciated the effort but needed more information.
Open day attendees that spoke to The Spectator also said they wished the energy companies that have won exploration rights for the region would have turned up.
The meetings have been run by ‘The Primary Agency’ public relations firm on behalf of the State Government to prepare a report on community views.
