HAMILTON-based farm business and livestock production consultant James Whale is the new president of the Grassland Society of Southern Australia.
Mr Whale, a consultant with Mike Stephens and Associates, hopes to push the society’s membership from just over 500 to 600 and to reactivate some branches that have been in a lull.
Mr Whale, 33, was instrumental in reviving the Western District branch and hopes to repeat that success in other branches.
