TRADITIONAL games and an indigenous story time session are some of the events being held in Southern Grampians to celebrate NAIDOC Week this week.
Southern Grampians Shire Mayor Cr Albert Calvano said NAIDOC Week was the perfect opportunity for locals to learn more about local Aboriginal culture and to celebrate the achievements of indigenous people.
NAIDOC Week is held right across Australia every July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples.
