A LOCAL Hamilton man is upset over a NAIDOC week ceremony being held at the Konongwootong Reservoir today.
Johnnie Lovett, of the indigenous Boandik clan, says the celebration at the reservoir is an infringement on both aboriginal culture and tradition.
With ceremonies for NAIDOC Week being held across Australia each July, the week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
