LOWAN’S minor party candidates have welcomed the monthly fall in Warrnambool and south-west Victoria unemployment to 7.2 per cent but have also focussed on long term issues.
Nationals candidate for Lowan, Emma Kealy said the result was a “positive indication for the local economy” that would “reduce pressure on families”.
Labor can candidate for Lowan, Bob Scates attacked the government for the latest regional Victorian unemployment rate.
