ROADWORKS have been completed around Hamilton North Primary School in an attempt to increase safety for students when being dropped off and picked up.
Working with Southern Grampians Shire Council and Hamilton Police, planning for the road update had been in the works for three to four years and was started and completed during the recent school holidays.
School council president, Stu Willder said the problem was that because the school had grown massively, they had outgrown their facilities and there was a high volume of traffic in peak times.
