PREMIER Denis Napthine has sung the praises of Victoria’s sheep and wool industry.
Opening Sheepvention on Monday, Dr Napthine declared the industry vital to both the Hamilton and south-west and wider Victorian economies.
“It’s a $4 billion industry – $2 billion worth of exports and $2 billion of local consumption,” Dr Napthine said.
