A THREE-DAY VicRoads targeted blitz aimed at heavy transport in the Portland area ends today.
The operation led by the VicRoads regulatory services team involves six transport safety services officers checking heavy vehicles with a focus on logging trucks that operate around the ports and yards.
VicRoads officers are looking at load security, general maintenance and roadworthy items.
They have been joined in the blitz by the Sheriff’s Office and police.
