HAMILTON hospital patients will benefit from nearly $2 million in extra funding for Western District Health Service this year.
Health Minister David Davis announced an extra $607 million in this financial year’s health budget this week, boosting overall funding to nearly $15 billion.
Western District Health Service is set to receive $1.9 million of the extra funding to go toward operational costs.
