WHEN Cavendish’s Chris Faille wrote a children’s book in 2012 he never expected it to be published, let alone shortlisted for an award.
The book ‘Jeremy’ is on the short list for the Eve Pownall Award for Information Books, one category in the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s Children’s Book of the Year Awards 2014.
‘Jeremy’ is one of six books in the category, which therefore makes it a notable book, and the winner of the award will be announced tomorrow in Canberra.
