MAJOR roads within about an hour’s drive from Hamilton will receive a $6 million “summer blitz” of roadworks before winter 2015.
Victorian Premier Denis Napthine made the announcement at Caramut on Friday and said it would be a “proper” repair and not just “patch-up work” now that the rains have subsided.
More than $3m will be spent at seven locations along the Henty Hwy near Hamilton, Branxholme and Cavendish.
