ILLEGAL shooters in blue gum plantations have been given their last warning.
In a crackdown by police across the south-west gun owners will lose their gun licences and have their firearms and ammunition destroyed if they’re caught illegally entering private properties to hunt.
Branxholme Leading Senior Constable David Tognon said blue gum plantation managers and property owners were becoming increasingly frustrated by shooters dangerously flouting the law.
