THE promising young playing stocks of soccer players from the local community will be on display at the South Australian Junior Soccer Association Country Championships in Mildura this weekend. Seventeen local juniors will compete for the Western Border Soccer Association to compete at the prestigious event which attracts the best and brightest young talent from the states of South Australia and Victoria. The Old Aerodrome Sporting Complex in Mildura will host proceedings which get underway from tomorrow. David Stafford, who is the under 15s coach for the WBSA and helps oversee local junior talent, was optimistic of what could be achieved at the championships.
