Portland’s finest recognised for longstanding service

Huw Cushing  |  NEARLY a quarter of the Portland police force has been honoured for longstanding ethical service. Eight of the station’s nearly 40 police officers recently received National or Victorian Police Service Medals. The medals are presented to all police officers after 10 years of service and a clasp awarded for every additional five years of service.
