Spectator-Observer Partnership  |  HEYWOOD has an extra doctor, following demand for the service at the Portland Family Practice. The Portland GP practice had been seeing a number of patients from Heywood andDartmoorbecause there weren’t enough doctors in Heywood, according to practice manager Beatrice Lee, so they decided to send a doctor north instead. “That means the patients don’t have to travel all the way toPortland.
