Blackout for 9000 customers

Ross Moir  |  JUST before 6pm on Thursday, 9000 customers were plunged into darkness when a blackout cast a pall over the district for about 15 minutes. Powercor public relations manager Drew Douglas said the blackout was caused by equipment failure in a transformer at the zone substation, possibly caused by the heavy rain.
