Emma-Jayne Schenk | RESIDENTS are warned to stop using Lake Hamilton, with a massive 12 times the accepted level of E. coli detected in the lake. Results from water quality monitoring have found E. coli levels exceeding the Australian Water Quality Recreation Guidelines minimum, making it necessary for Southern Grampians Shire to enact the Faecal Coliform Contingency Plan.
