$4 million saleyards revamp

Emma-Jayne Schenk  |  A MULTI-million dollar revamp of the Hamilton saleyards has been approved by Southern Grampians Shire councillors, who adopted the Regional Livestock Exchange master plan at its April meeting. It is believed that $4 million will be committed to improving the saleyards, with a focus on reviewing and upgrading infrastructure, upgrading facilities, a market assessment, internet sales, site design, tourism and training opportunities and establishing the best practice for management.
