EV move final decision 
REMOVAL of the Evie Networks Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station from its present site was again on the agenda for the Southern Grampians Shire Council’s (SGSC) latest ordinary meeting at Coleraine on Wednesday night.

TWO years have come around quickly since the last Red Gum Festival (RGF) at Cavendish and it’s fast approaching for the 2024 event to be held on the weekend of April, Friday 12, Saturday 13, and Sunday 14.
BROWN boobies and red crabs of Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands are the topic of the first special presentation meeting of the Hamilton Field Naturalists Club (HFNC) for 2024 on March 21, at 7.30pm at HIRL.
AN outstanding panel of 35 global experts from as far away as Germany and the United States of America, and local experts, will share their experience and insights at the ‘Raising the Roof 2024’ event later this month to help ensure Australian dairy farmers are investing in the right housing and feeding infrastructure on-farm.
WHILE many Hamilton district residents are well acquainted with Mill Road and the old bluestone mill after which it is named and most of them also know the name Prestonholme Nurseries, only a few would be aware of the stunning colours on the inside of the glasshouses there.
