Lovett-Murray awarded life membership
HEYWOOD’S Nathan Lovett-Murray was awarded life membership of the Essendon Football Club last week at the club’s season launch.
Lovett-Murray played 145 games for the club after being selected with pick 27 of the 2003 rookie draft, his career spanned 10 seasons from 2004-2013.
The versatile utility spent time back, through the midfield and up forward at Essendon, kicking 72 goals. He also was selected four times for the Indigenous All-Star team, captaining them in 2013.
