Kangaroos take Anzac Day clash
THE Hamilton Kangaroos have claimed their first premiership points for the 2015 Hampden Football League season, winning by 12 points over Portland in the Anzac Day clash at Melville Oval on Saturday.
Hamilton won the match 9.6 (60) to a highly inaccurate Portland 5.18 (48).
It was the first time the Kangaroos have taken the Anzac Day honours since the rival clubs joined the Hampden league in 2013.
In a blow to the Roos, forward Brendan Huf broke his wrist in the second quarter while young Tom Feely was knocked out in the final minutes of the game.
