‘Drewy’ meets final deadline
AFTER 43 years of working at The Spectator in various positions, editor Wayne Drew will put the “paper to bed” for the final time on Saturday.
Known for his sense of humour and repetitious sayings by those in the news room, Wayne is looking forward to packing up the caravan and ‘buggering off’ as he would say.
Well known as ‘Drewy’ to many, Wayne decided now was the right time to retire and sit back and relax with wife, Jill.
