KARTING SHOWCASE A MECCA FOR DRIVERS
HAMILTON’S reputation as a centre of motorsport excellence has been further enhanced with the town proving to be a mecca for karting drivers.
More than 180 drivers contested the penultimate round of the 2017 Austrans Victorian Country Series with the 21st annual Handbury Cup at the Buckley Park Raceway.
Hamilton Karting Club spokesperson Daniel Linke described the title meet as a “fantastic weekend” for all involved.
“Well done to everyone who volunteered and helped in the canteen and all the officials, club members and that, who helped out for the whole weekend,” he told The Spectator.
