Hamilton gets behind drought-stricken farmers
HAMILTON’S Mal and Dash Schultz have generously surrendered their time and rallied locals together in support of the devastating drought in New South Wales.
Only a couple of short weeks ago, Mal and Dash had the inspiring urge to begin a Facebook donation page, ‘Drought Drive Hamilton Vic’, which called for contributions to help suffering farmers across NSW.
Since the Facebook page went live, the couple have been overwhelmed with donations to the Lutheran Church, Good Shepard College, their home address and Coles supermarket’s.
After a generous offer was made by Mal and Dash to supply all the donations to farmers in the NSW town of Cobar, the shire’s mayor, Lilliane Brady, didn’t hesitate to accept the gracious offer from Hamilton locals.
