Ambulance response times below par in regional areas
STATISTICS released by Ambulance Victoria indicated ambulance response times in the Moyne and Glenelg Shires were below par in the months April to June.
Only one of the nine municipalities in Lowan achieved a target set by the State Government in 2017 with response times taking longer than 15 minutes around the district.
Moyne Shire’s response times are among the slowest in the state at an average of 22 minutes.
Lowan MP, Emma Kealy, said the statistics were not good enough and it was disappointing the State Government targets were not being met.
