Season on the line for Rebels against Stingrays
IT’S do or die for the Greater Western Victoria Rebels when it takes on Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup football finals in Melbourne tomorrow.
The Rebels advanced through to the finals after winning its wild card clash against Northern Knights last week and will now face the minor premiers, who have lost just one game this season.
It will be the toughest match of the year for the Rebels, but coach Marc Greig said the playing group is excited by the challenge.
“They’ve been on top of the ladder all year and only lost one game, so they’re clearly the best team in the competition,” Greig said.
