Reigning premiers remain alive in T20 hunt
HAMILTON began its title defence of the Hamilton and District Cricket Association T20 competition with a well-paced victory against Tahara on Thursday.
With the match being played under sunny conditions, there would be no worries about the light late in the match and Jack Goodman (Tahara) was happy to bat first as he won the toss.
Josh Pepper made his intentions known by plonking the ball over the long-on fence as Alex Rhook got the game underway.
Pepper would despatch another two deliveries over the fence in that eventful first over as he continued to find the middle of his bat.
