Visitors claim ladies Rose Bowl honour
LAST Friday the Hamilton Golf Club ladies members conducted their annual Rose Bowl event which attracted a huge attendance.
The weather was ideal for golf, but the ladies did say they had some trouble with the greens which were a little fast and many left a few putts out on the course, but overall the course was in magnificent condition.
The Hamilton Rose Bowl began in 2002 and was the initiative of Sally Powling and is a perpetual trophy.
The bowl belongs to the Hamilton Golf Club ladies and is run as an annual event involving many other golf clubs from the region.
