Coleraine, Dartmoor, Heywood battle to take top five spots
THE last round of the South West District Football League is set to be a blockbuster with each game crucial to deciding this year’s finalists.
While Westerns, Heathmere and Tyrendarra have locked in their finals places, only two of Coleraine, Dartmoor and Heywood will make it.
Heywood sits in fourth position a game (plus percentage) clear of the Giants and the Maroons, and that percentage could yet be the deciding factor.
The Lions take on Dartmoor at Dartmoor and the loser could be the one to miss out if sixth-placed Coleraine upsets second-placed Heathmere.
Coleraine has had some varied results in 2019 defeating top sides, Heywood, Westerns, Heathmere and Dartmoor along the way.
Despite their ability to tackle the top teams they will have to be in top form to get over the Meres, who have been in red hot form the past two weeks.
Heathmere produced a big performance against Heywood last week claiming a 35-point victory.
