Driver damages gates
DIVER will face court later this year after he was caught performing doughnuts at the Dartmoor Football Ground, but not on the oval surface.
Sergeant Andrew Dunlop said police were called just after midnight when the 31-year-old Dartmoor man was seen driving erratically in the area.
“The driver had been doing donuts on the lawn outside the Dartmoor Football Ground,” Sgt Dunlop said.
“He then deliberately drove through the closed gates at the ground, which caused $1000 damage.”
Sgt Dunlop said the driver was interviewed and charged with criminal damage and driving offences.
