THE South West District Football Netball League has crowned their best and fairest winners for the 2019 season with Heathmere’s Josh Andrews taking out the senior football award while Westerns’ Danielle Marley took out the A grade netball prize.
The winners were crowned at the league’s presentation day at Hamilton yesterday.
Andrews dominated the football polling with 26 votes, 10 votes ahead of runner-up (and last year’s winner) Tyson Hogan from Coleraine who earned 16 votes.
In the A grade netball is was a tight race with Marley claiming the trophy on 25 votes, just one vote ahead of teammate Hannah Bunney (Frew).
Clint Foster from Heywood claimed the reserves football best and fairest award followed by Dartmoor’s Ben Hicks.
