More staff changes at AFL Western District
AFL Western District has undergone more staff changes, with Senior Operations Manager Brad Pole leaving his post at the conclusion of this week.
Pole has accepted a position with the Mooney Valley Racing Club in Melbourne as partnerships manager.
Pole initially moved to Warrnambool 10 years ago, arriving from Adelaide, and has been heavily involved with the Warrnambool Racing Club for the past seven years.
Back in April, AFL Western District announced a restructuring of the organisation which is based at the Deakin University Campus in Warrnambool, and that as a result Regional General Manager Kate Williamson would step down.
Williamson’s responsibilities were then forwarded to Rod Ward, who served as an interim RGM until August when he announced his resignation.
In September, AFL Western District then appointed Matthew Ross to the role of Operations and Commercial Manager, taking on the responsibilities of the RGM.
