THE construction of a roof over the Hamilton Regional Livestock Exchange’s (HRLX) cattle yards has been put on hold until early next year to avoid impacting upcoming summer sales.
Southern Grampians Shire chief executive, Michael Tudball said work on the $1.8 million project would be put on hold over the summer, with temporary pens brought in for the January cattle sales.
